The latest deadly Boko Haram attacks on Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, have been blamed heavily on the minister for information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, as Nigerians condemned the minister for “technically” awakening the insurgents.

There are reports that the city of Maiduguri is currently under intense attack by the insurgents who are sending strong signals they are still very much around.
Reports from Maiduguri say that Nigerian troops are in battle with Boko Haram fighters, today December 28.
With the recent attacks on Maiduguri, Nigerians have blasted the minister, saying he technically re-awakened the terrorists.
